I was taught to sew at a very young age by my Lancashire mother. I still have her old Singer sewing machine, but I also own a 35 year old Bernina, which has been put to very good use recently as I have taught myself quilting.
I love to find really unusual and funky fabric, and turn it into something simple, practical, and eye catching.
I have a young grandson, and have been inspired to make things for him that you don’t find on the High Street.
I have also rekindled a passion for crotchet, and learned new techniques from books & on line tutorials.
I love being part of the Artisan market, as it is such a friendly, supportive, and talented group.
