Crafty Jack
My name is Jacky Partridge and I am known as ‘Craftyjack’. I started making Greetings cards some 15 years ago, and have progressed in designs and method of production since then. My watercolour cards sell quite well as people seem to like the individuality of them and to be able to send something original to friends and family.
I have always sewn, from making doll’s clothes for my Cindy doll and I made my own wedding dress on an old Singer Treadle machine that belonged to my mother. I love all aspect of craft and enjoy trying new things to keep my table content fresh and hopefully, interesting. I persuade my two granddaughters to collect driftwood at a local beach and I make the pieces into hangers with shells and various beads bought from charity shops. Recycling at its’ best.
Helping to set up and run the Ivybridge Market has been a great learning curve for me and the other members of the committee, and I am glad it is proving ever more popular in the area.
Come and say hello when you are in Ivybridge on our market days. We are a friendly bunch and always glad to share ideas.
